How to take action on plastic – the best plastic resources to help you

Rarely a week goes by without a damning report on plastic waste or another distressing image of marine life affected by plastic pollution. It can be hard to know how to respond.

For us, a good place to start is with education and understanding. We want our work to make a difference, so beyond the bottle sales, we aim to support you to take action on plastic and speak confidently about what you believe in.

There are so many free, useful resources to help in your plastic-free quest, whether you’re looking to make a difference at home, work or in the community. Here we’ve rounded up some of the best plastic resources to guide and inspire you.

Plastic resources for events and festivals

Making Waves Campaign (PDF): a guide by RAW Foundation for festivals and event organisers to go plastic free, with useful advice, resources and suppliers.

Drastic on Plastic: campaign from RAW Foundation and the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) to encourage independent festivals to eliminate single use plastic on their sites by 2021. Over 60 festivals have made the pledge and the Drastic on Plastic action pack is available for all festivals and events to use as resourse .
